Thank you for your interest in the Broomfield Civic Chorus. We are is dedicated to providing our community with vocal music programs that include a variety of popular and traditional music. Our annual season includes two concerts, one in the winter, and another in the spring. During the year we also perform chorus music for Veteran’s Day, the Broomfield Holiday Tree Lighting, and Memorial Day. Upcoming Events
The Broomfield Civic Chorus will perform several festive holiday songs at the Broomfield Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 6, 2024 between 6 and 7 pm.
Our Fall/Winter concert on December 8. 2024 will include a variety of holiday-themed and Christmas music. The concert will be held at 3 pm in the Ministry Center at the Presbyterian Church of Broomfield (map link) at 350 Main St. in Broomfield.

The Spring concert was performed on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at the Ministry Center of the Presbyterian Church of Broomfield at 350 Main St., Broomfield, Colorado.The concert included choral highlights from The Music Man and The Sound of Music, favorite Gershwin and Sinatra song medleys, and additional songs including “How does a Moment Last Forever,” and other selections.
Our Fall/Winter 2023 concert celebrated the Winter holiday season with a mix of traditional and contemporary songs. The Chorus performed at the annual Holiday Tree Lighting on December 1st, 2023 at the George DiCiero City and County Building. The Chorus also presented its own holiday music concert on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Ministry Center of the Presbyterian Church of Broomfield.
Our Spring 2023 concert “Broadway Favorite Songs” was dedicated to the memory of Clark Scriven, music lover, singer and dedicated Chorus supporter, and included Singing’ In the Rain, Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, I Whistle A Happy Tune, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Once Upon A Time, Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Make Me a Match, and On the Street Where You Live.
Our Winter 2022 Christmas concert, “Give Me an Old Fashioned Christmas,” featured a compilation of joyful and heartfelt music including Carols of Peace and Joy, The Gift, It’s Christmas Time, A Carol in Winter, and We Need A Little Christmas among other seasonal favorites. We had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday season together.
Spring is such an invigorating time of year, and we marked it with music that celebrated the several commemorations within this Season! We began with a special arrangement of Agnus Dei by composer Jay Althouse. Other selections celebrated: LOVE with a Jerome Kern medley that included Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, The Way You Look Tonight, and I’ve Told Every Little Star; ST. PATRICK’S DAY with an Irish Eyes Are Smiling medley; MEMORIAL DAY with I Sing A Song For America, and Our America medley; and AMERICANA with Simple Gifts and Going Home. We closed this special concert with May You Always and Sing (from Sesame Street.)
After a season on hiatus, the Broomfield Civic Chorus invited our community to It’s Christmas Once Again, a concert that sparkled with all the joyful anticipation of the holiday season. A jaunty arrangement of It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas set the mood, followed by The Christmas Waltz, Come On, Ring Those Bells, Santa Claus Rock, One Can Hear the Falling Snow and All on a Silent Night/ A Celtic Silent Night. Our holiday program closed with a warm Christmas blessing: May Love Be Yours At Christmas.
Among the music selections for our 2019 Christmas concert were: Christmas Goes Baroque, A Christmas Alleluia, Still a Bach Christmas, Mary Did You Know?, Ding Dong Merrily on High, A Celtic Noël, The Child Grew Strong, Christmas Grace, and The Stable Choir.
